Bordjalu carpets arrive on the Hamadan market from the territory between Hamadan and Arak. In terms of design and structure, the Bordjalu is unmistakably “Persian” and it is absolutely impossible to confuse it with the Caucasian Bordjalu. The colors used usually give a fairly clear overall effect, often we find pastel colors. The designs are very much oriented towards Western taste, in fact a central medallion surrounded by various floral motifs dominates. The warp and weft are in cotton while the pile has a high shaving. With a pleasant effect due to its festive flowering, it is considered a good quality furnishing carpet.
